Agilus is recruiting for a Crossings Encroachment Specialist in the Oil and Gas industry in Alberta.

This role serves as the main point of contact for the Encroachments Project at a leading Canadian oil and gas midstream company. Responsibilities include engaging with landowners and third-party stakeholders to document and mitigate encroachments on pipeline right-of-ways (ROW).

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate encroachment discussions, conduct site visits, negotiate mitigation options, and collaborate on resolutions.
  • Contribute to project planning, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies.
  • Manage encroachment consents, verify mitigation completion, and support file close-out.
  • Coordinate with service providers, monitor work quality, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in project meetings, assist with reporting, and support resource planning.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in real estate, land management, or related fields.
  • Experience with pipeline right-of-way acquisition, negotiation, and facility installations.
  • Knowledge of land use regulations and Canadian Energy Regulator (CER) standards.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.
  • Project management skills; GIS knowledge is a plus.
