Mary Honeywell Elementary School.

Mary Honeywell Elementary School opened in 1989 serving a triple‑track junior kindergarten to grade 6 student population. Our school hosts four specialized system classes, welcoming students with autism from a number of schools across our District. Application to these classes is a centralized District process. Approximately 30% of our students are in the English program and 60% are in French Immersion.

Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board’s (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school, and the District, by creating a positive and inclusive school climate, learning and workplace environment. OCT Additional Qualifications: Spec Ed 2

Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) considered an asset for the Position: Working with children with special needs is an asset

Additional Information: You must be able to work in a team (teacher + 2 EA's) daily

1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.




2. If fewer than three (3) qualified applicants apply, all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
