Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

The Employment Support Navigator — Bilingual provides employment navigation and workforce integration support in both official languages to healthcare professionals seeking licensure and employment in Manitoba. The role guides candidates through assessment, education, registration, licensure, and employment pathways, while collaborating with regulatory bodies, educational institutions, employers, government partners, and Francophone organizations to support successful workforce integration.

The incumbent also serves as the provincial HSPnet Receiving Coordinator, overseeing the coordination and reporting of student clinical placements across Manitoba. Through a Francophone health equity lens, the role supports bilingual placements, strengthens partnerships, and contributes to the development of a sustainable bilingual healthcare workforce. Success in this position requires strong organizational, communication, relationship building, and coordination skills.

La personne titulaire appuie les candidats dans leur cheminement et collabore avec les ordres réglementaires, les établissements d’enseignement, les employeurs, les partenaires gouvernementaux et les organismes francophones afin de favoriser leur intégration professionnelle. La personne agit également à titre de coordonnateur(trice) provincial(e) du HSPnet pour les stages cliniques, assurant la coordination et le suivi des stages étudiants au Manitoba. Dans une perspective d’équité en santé pour les francophones, elle contribue à l’optimisation des stages bilingues, au renforcement des partenariats et au développement d’une main-d’œuvre bilingue durable. Le poste exige de solides compétences en organisation, en communication, en collaboration et en coordination.

Experience
  • Experience recruiting, assessing, and supporting healthcare professionals throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including candidate attraction, screening, placement, and onboarding, is preferred.
  • Experience in workforce development, employment services, recruitment, case management, systems navigation, or workforce integration, preferably within healthcare.
  • Experience supporting internationally educated healthcare professionals, newcomers to Canada, or other diverse populations using culturally safe, inclusive, and client-centred practices.
  • Experience coordinating clinical practice placements, student scheduling, registrar services, or comparable academic administration is an asset.
  • Experience working collaboratively with healthcare employers, regulatory bodies, post-secondary institutions, government agencies, and community organizations is preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex administrative processes is considered an asset.
Experience
  • Expérience en recrutement, en évaluation et en accompagnement de professionnels de la santé tout au long du cycle de recrutement, y compris l’attraction des candidats, la présélection, le placement et l’intégration, est préférable.
  • Expérience en développement de la main-d’œuvre, en services d’emplois, en recrutement, en gestion de cas, en navigation des systèmes ou en intégration professionnelle, de préférence dans le secteur de la santé, est requise.
  • Expérience auprès de professionnels de la santé formés à l’étranger, de nouveaux arrivants au Canada ou d’autres populations diversifiées, selon des pratiques culturellement sécuritaires, inclusives et centrées sur le client, sont souhaités.
  • Expérience dans la coordination de stages cliniques, la planification des étudiants, les services du registraire ou une administration académique comparable constitue un atout.
  • Expérience de collaboration avec des employeurs du secteur de la santé, des ordres réglementaires, des établissements postsecondaires, des organismes gouvernementaux et des organismes communautaires sont privilégiés.
  • Expérience dans la gestion de multiples intervenants et de processus administratifs complexes constitue un atout.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management (or related field).
  • Education in recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce development, career development, or employment services is considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Formation (diplôme, certificat ou attestation)
  • Baccalauréat en gestion des ressources humaines (ou dans un domaine connexe).

Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current registration and membership in good standing with an applicable professional regulatory body, where required by the candidate's profession is considered an asset.
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's licence and access to a vehicle, or the ability to travel throughout Manitoba, as required.
  • Certification or designation in Human Resources (CPHR), Career Development, Project Management (PMP), or a related field is considered an asset.
