Job summary

YWCA Prince Albert is seeking an Employment Support Program for Youth Coordinator to lead employment readiness and life skills activities for youth facing barriers. You will manage cohorts, deliver workshops, and coordinate job shadowing with community partners in Prince Albert.

The role reports to the Community Connection Centre Manager and requires strong organization, confidentiality, and collaborative skills to support diverse youth populations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' case management experience, preferably in employment services.
  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience.
  • Life skills facilitation experience is an asset.
  • Experience working with diverse and Indigenous populations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
  • Successful Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate up to three ESP4Y cohorts (16 participants each).
  • Recruit, screen, onboard, and support participants.
  • Deliver employment readiness, life skills, career development, and workshops.
  • Facilitate group sessions and participant engagement.
  • Arrange job shadowing and community referrals.
  • Provide case management, assessments, employment plans, and progress monitoring.
  • Support ETI applications.
  • Maintain accurate program records and reporting.
  • Foster a safe, respectful, client-centred environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Employment Support Program for Youth Coordinator (ESP4Y Coordinator)

Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Salaried (37.5 hours/week)

Reports To: Community Connection Centre Manager

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an employment and career preparation program for youth aged 1629 facing barriers to employment.
  • Support participants to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to secure employment or pursue further education.
