Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time, Bargaining Unit (4 Vacancies)

Work Hours: 35 hours/week (Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm)

Work Setting: Exclusively Onsite - 2930 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Toronto, ON.

Salary: External Rate I7: $59,282.34
Internal Rate I8: $60,492.18

Integrated Employment Services at WoodGreen is a high-performance team that improves communities, families, and individual lives through effective access to employment. Working at a local Integrated Employment Services Centre or other sites in the City of Toronto, they rapidly help high-need jobseekers obtain quality, sustainable employment. The employment needs in the City of Toronto are intense, and our staff bring compassion, energy, focus, and skill to address these needs in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. WoodGreen’s staff are supported by caring managers, training, tools, procedures, and systems for success. We aim to have the best jobseeker client experience and outcomes available in Canada, and our Integrated Employment Services team is a cornerstone of this success.

What You Will Do

  1. Serve as the primary subject matter expert within the specific area of practice, offering guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  2. Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and methodologies within the practice area and ensure their integration into day-to-day operations.
  3. Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting professional development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  4. Develop, implement, and monitor standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency and high-quality outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with manager to develop and refine strategic objectives for the practice area.
  6. Conduct regular assessments of practices, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
  7. Act as a liaison between team members, departments, and external partners to promote collaboration and alignment of goals.
  8. Lead or participate in meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance the capacity of the team.
  9. Assist with onboarding and training new team members in both role-specific and organization-wide competencies.
  10. Execute the core duties and responsibilities of the specific role for which the Practice Lead is assigned (e.g., Employment Consultant, Job Developer, Career Success Coach, etc.).
  11. Maintain a reduced yet impactful caseload to ensure continued direct engagement and expertise in the field. Perform all duties associated with core role (see Job Description for core role).
  12. Ensure accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to the practice area.
  13. Use data insights to inform recommendations and demonstrate impact.
  14. Contribute to the development of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Identify opportunities to pilot new approaches, tools, and initiatives within the practice area.
  16. Advocate for resources, training, and support to enhance the effectiveness of the practice team.
  17. Represent the organization in external forums, committees, and events relevant to the practice area.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, Social Services or other related field.
  • High level of expertise and experience in the specific core role or practice area.
  • Demonstrated initiative in supporting peers with coaching, training, and resources.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
