Job summary

UFA is seeking a People Experience Designer to design, manage, and continuously improve employee experience products across the lifecycle. You will use employee insights and data to shape roadmaps, deliver intuitive experiences, and drive measurable value for employees and the organization.

In this role you will own the portfolio, partner with stakeholders, apply design thinking, test ideas, and measure outcomes to scale solutions and reduce friction across the employee journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
  • 5+ years in Employee Experience, HR, Learning, Performance Management or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Own an assigned employee experience portfolio, including product vision, roadmap and backlog.
  • Define opportunities to improve employee experiences across the employee lifecycle.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on employee insights, business priorities, data and organizational value.
  • Manage the evolution of employee experience products through continuous improvement.
  • Partner to understand employee needs, pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate research, data and feedback into product opportunities and solutions.
  • Use journey mapping, design thinking and human-centered design practices to improve experiences.
  • Develop prototypes, pilots and minimum viable solutions to test ideas and gather feedback.
  • Lead the design and implementation of employee experience improvements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
  • Develop launch and adoption strategies to ensure successful implementation.
  • Create simple, intuitive and scalable employee experiences.
  • Define success measures and product health indicators.
  • Evaluate adoption, effectiveness and employee impact.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve products.
  • Identify opportunities for future enhancements.

The People Experience Designer designs, manages, and continuously improves employee experience products across the employee lifecycle. Using employee insights, data, and business priorities, the role develops product roadmaps and delivers simple, effective, and impactful experiences that create measurable value for employees and the organization.

Experience & Capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Education, Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years in Employee Experience, HR, Learning, Performance Management or related fields
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide programs or portfolios
  • Experience working across field/frontline and corporate environments
  • Proven track record of delivering initiatives that improved business outcomes
  • Experience working in complex, evolving organizations
  • CPHR is an asset
  • Experience in experience design, HR innovation, or program strategy
  • Strong design thinking and journey mapping capability
  • Ability to simplify complex systems, AI experience will be considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and problem framing
  • Ability to design for scale and variation (field + corporate)
