Job summary

Summit is a boutique commercial insurance brokerage redefining partnerships. As an Employee Benefits Advisor, you will own your pipeline, drive new opportunities with business owners and HR leaders, and present group benefits solutions.

You’ll have tools, support, and a flexible hybrid setup to win business and be rewarded for results. If you’re moving from a large firm or insurer and want a revenue-driving advisory role, this is your chance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee benefits or group insurance experience.
• Life & A&S license in your home province (we'll license you elsewhere ASAP).
• CEBS or GBA designation is an asset.
• You're comfortable hearing no and pushing forward anyway.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and opening doors with business owners and HR leaders.
• Turning conversations into opportunities - and opportunities into clients.
• Designing and presenting group benefits solutions (health, dental, life, A&S, wellness).
• Managing relationships from first meeting through onboarding and renewals.
• Working closely with carriers and internal teammates to get deals across the line.
• Building a book of business you're proud of - and growing it.
