Job summary

My Insurance Broker in Thornhill, Ontario is seeking a Junior Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, renewals, endorsements, and COIs. You’ll work with brokers and carriers to ensure timely processing of transactions and maintain accurate client records.

You will also assist with invoicing, AR, and collaborating with internal teams to identify re-marketing opportunities, with a focus on retention and service excellence.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree required or equivalent industry experience.
• 1-3 years experience servicing commercial lines in a general insurance brokerage.
• Strong understanding of carrier portals and underwriting workflows.
• Experience with a Broker Management System (EPIC preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• CIP or CAIB certification or active pursuit is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage renewals and service requests for commercial accounts.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and COIs for house clients and brokers.
• Issue invoices and manage accounts receivable within EPIC.
• Collaborate with brokers, clients, carriers and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
• Retain business by proactively addressing issues and facilitating re-marketing opportunities.
