Job summary

Duties include reviewing ERAPs, assessing responder capabilities, participating in outreach events, and developing exercises.

Qualifications

• Education required: degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry or an applied science with a relevant specialization.
• Additional faculties may be considered if credentials are recognized by Canadian standards.

Responsibilities

• Review Emergency Response Assistance Plans (ERAPs) and assess responders’ capabilities.
• Participate in public outreach and engagement events; attend and develop exercises.
• Contribute to regulatory updates and policy analyses related to transportation of dangerous goods; collaborate on related projects.
