Job summary

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing as a Physician Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
• Current CAPA/NCCPA membership in good standing.
• Certification through PACCC or NCCPA required/eligible.
• MOHLTC-approved PA program or equivalent training.
• Flexible with strong organization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion with confidential info.
• Professionalism, reliability and customer service focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork.
• Exposure to Lean principles and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health and social histories.
• Conduct physical assessments and interpret findings.
• Activate medical directives and interpret diagnostics (ECG, labs, imaging).
• Perform procedures such as ECG, casting, suturing and ultrasound.
• Formulate treatment plans and liaise with consultants and clinics.
• Document patient encounters.
• Support physicians with hospital applications and IT systems.
