About North Island Hospital Comox Valley:

Opened in October 2017, this new hospital features a 24-hour Emergency Department with 153 inpatient beds. We serve a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, with over 31,000 visits annually in a community of approximately 66,000 residents. The hospital is a referral center for various surgical specialties and has a broad range of consultants. We are also a trauma team and the Rapid Response Team for the hospital, attending cardiac arrests and code calls.
