We have an academic affiliation with the University of British Columbia (UBC) postgraduate programs and are a teaching hospital. We have a Family Practice Residency Program and are involved in both medical student and residency teaching. We would like to incorporate physicians into our group with specialized skill sets. Dedicated academic, quality improvement or leadership experience would be an asset. As we are a new hospital, there is room for quality improvement initiatives, which would be supported by the Department.
