Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority invites applications for an Emergency Medical Technician-PCP at Outlook & District Health Centre. The position is part-time regular (0.27 FTE) with shifts across days, nights, evenings, weekends, and standby.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, initial assessment, treatment and transport, with preference for HSAS members per collective agreement. Valid PCP licensure and BLS/ITLS are required.

Qualifications

  • PCP diploma required or equivalent
  • Registered Paramedic with applicable standards
  • HCP-C certification or equivalent
  • ITLS certification plus BLS instructor preferred

Job Description: The Emergency Medical Technician-PCP is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergent calls for service, provide initial assessment, treatment and transport of ill or injured persons. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

  • Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards)
