Job summary

Alberta Health Services is hiring aPrimary Care Paramedic (PCP) in High Prairie. You will assess emergency scenes, treat patients, and may transport them between facilities. Lead BLS crews and ensure ambulances and NET units are stocked per standards.

The role requires ACOP PCP registration, BCLS CPR, and a Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with a current driver abstract. Expect demanding shifts and travel to remote locations.

Qualifications

• Non-restricted registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Paramedics (ACOP) as a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification.
• Must hold a valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with a 5-year driver abstract (max 6 demerits).

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients and may transport ill or injured patients between scenes or facilities.
• Lead BLS crew in delivering clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes; ensure proper stocking of vehicles.
