Job summary

Avenue.io Inc. invites qualified Primary Care Paramedics to join our Emergency Health Services team in Provost, Alberta. You will assess emergencies, transport patients, and lead BLS crews while ensuring vehicles are properly stocked and compliant with standards.

The role requires ACOP PCP registration, BCLS CPR certification, a valid Class 4 Alberta Licence, and completion of the F.A.R.E. test when applicable. Expect a demanding, field-based environment with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Mandatory non-restricted PCP registration with ACOP.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with clean driver abstract.
• F.A.R.E. test completed within six months prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients; transport or interfacility transfers.
• Lead BLS crew during patient transport or at scenes; administer basic meds as applicable.
• Ensure ambulances and transport units are stocked and compliant with standards.
• Work in demanding conditions including extreme weather and remote locations.
