Job summary

Humber River Health in Toronto's northwest, Wilson Site, is seeking a registered nurse to join the Emergency Department on a temporary part-time basis. You will work 12-hour rotating shifts days, nights, and weekends, with emphasis on acute care nursing and collaboration with a diverse team.

Applicants must hold RN registration in Ontario, with 3–6 months medical/surgical experience; ACLS/TNCC/PALS are required or completed within timeframes. BCLS at hire.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Minimum 3-6 months medical/surgical experience; 6-8 weeks training provided.
• Current Emergency experience preferred; ICU experience is an asset.
• ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC certificates required or completed within defined timelines.

Responsibilities

• The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Registered Nurse within an acute care hospital Emergency Department.
