Qualifications

• Graduate from a MOHLTC-approved Physician Assistant program (including 2026 Graduate of the McMaster University or Consortium of PA Education program).
• Eligible for Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada certification.
• Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario in good standing.
• Current BCLS.

Responsabilités

• Provides optimal, ethical, and patient-centered ED care under physician supervision.
• Completes comprehensive health history and physical assessments of patients.
• Develops a care plan with patients, families, physicians and the inter-professional team.
• Implements and documents the plan of care and coordinates necessary tests and procedures.
• Monitors patient progress and revises the plan based on response to treatment.
• Maintains accurate records of patient care plans and communications with the team.
• Performs tasks within the supervising physician’s scope as delegated.
