Qualifications

• Licensed and registered to practice in Alberta.

Join Our Growing Team as an EMDR Therapist in Alberta

The Canadian Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCCP) is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate EMDR Therapist to provide virtual therapy services to clients across Alberta.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will support individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges while enjoying the flexibility of a fully virtual practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy sessions to individuals, couples, and adults affected by trauma and related concerns.
• Utilize EMDR Therapy to support trauma processing and recovery.
• Complete clinical documentation and treatment planning in a timely manner.
• Maintain ethical and professional practice standards.
• Participate in case consultations and team collaboration when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Registered and authorized to practice in Alberta.
• EMDR Basic Training completed (preferred).
• Experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and attachment-related concerns.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable working in a virtual environment.
