Job summary

Experis is seeking an Embedded Software Architect for RTOS, BSP, and Embedded Linux to lead the software architecture for space and satellite applications in Montreal/Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. You'll work with Systems, Digital, RF and Hardware teams to craft robust embedded software platforms.

You will design, implement, integrate, and validate real-time software using C/C++ on RTOS, guiding the lifecycle from requirements through flight software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong experience with C and C++.
• Strong experience with RTOS platforms and real-time embedded software.
• Strong experience with BSP integration and embedded processor/SoC bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Define and contribute to the software architecture and design of complex embedded and flight software systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop software for satellite and space applications.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++ for real-time, resource-constrained environments.
• Work with RTOS platforms and contribute to the design and integration of real-time embedded applications.
