Job summary

Mycionics Inc in Kitchener, ON seeks an Embedded Electrical Designer to scale R&D and production. You will design multi‑layer PCBs, integrate microcontrollers, peripherals, and sensors, and validate hardware through bench testing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands‑on electrical/PCB design, experience with Altium Designer and STM32, and can collaborate with firmware and AI teams on prototypes and production iterations.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of in-field electrical and PCB design experience.
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers and interfacing methods.
• Experience with bench diagnostics and validation of hardware designs.

Responsibilities

• PCB & System Design: architect multi-layer PCBs and electrical systems.
• Embedded Hardware: integrate microcontrollers, peripherals, sensors and actuators.
• Hardware Validation: debug with oscilloscopes, meters, and logic analyzers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: support firmware and prototype testing with the software team.
