Here Is What We Are Looking For:

An Email Marketing Strategist who can confidently lead client relationships while developing data-driven email strategies that drive measurable results. The ideal candidate is both strategic and detail-oriented, able to optimize campaigns, manage multiple client projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to align email efforts with broader marketing goals. A strong focus on performance tracking, communication, and continuous improvement is essential for success in this role.

Here Is What You Will Do:
Client Relationship & Strategy Development
  • Understand and take ownership of client goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
  • Prioritize client retention and satisfaction through consistent engagement and results.
  • Develop systems and internal protocols to ensure all email marketing campaigns are fully optimized.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies with client objectives.
  • Define clear performance indicators for email marketing success that support broader business and marketing goals.
Performance Monitoring & Campaign Adjustment
  • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine strategies based on campaign performance.
  • Set actionable goals each month informed by data and results.
  • Confidently address client questions or concerns, reinforcing the value of their investment.
Time Management & Quota Responsibility
  • Track and reach your monthly quota of client hours.
  • Communicate with your manager if you’re unable to meet the required hours.
Project Management & Task Oversight
  • Use the project management tool to assess and stay updated on each client’s task status and progress weekly.
  • Ensure no action items fall behind and all project timelines are on track.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Account Manager Team, Digital Marketing Team, Web Team, and Thrive leadership.
  • Provide updates on project developments, timelines, challenges, and results.
Professional Development
  • Partner with Email Marketing Strategists to continuously improve your knowledge and skills.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
You Could Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Information Systems, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Related Skills and Experiences
  • Strong marketing creative mindset
  • Minimum of 3 years of email marketing experience.
  • Strong competency and familiarity with multiple email marketing platforms such as: Mailchimp, Hubspot, Constant Contact, SendGrid, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SendinBlue/Brevo, Omnisend, Zoho Campaigns / CRM, Klaviyo, Flodesk
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems
  • Ability to guide email copy and creative production to ensure it aligns with the strategy
  • Familiar with email compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, etc.)
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
  • Prior experience with e-commerce marketing integrations preferred
  • Experience with UTM tracking, Google Analytics / GTM
  • Basic to Intermediate HTML knowledge preferred
  • Experience with building email automation flows for leads, active contacts, churned customers, etc.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills
  • Drive to continually learn and grow in knowledge and skill of email marketing
  • Flexibility to take on and handle other tasks or projects as assigned
