Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a design-focused HTML email specialist for a 4-month, ~35h/week contract in Toronto. You will build and maintain professional HTML email templates, ensure on-brand rendering, and create visual content for marketing across brands.

You’ll work with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, translate ideas into layouts, and collaborate with product and marketing to improve visuals and user experiences. Fluency in English preferred.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing craft in layout, typography, and brand consistency under real constraints.
• Working HTML/CSS for email; ability to build a template, not just mock one up.
• Fluent in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Comfortable working alongside AI tools.
• Detail-obsessed and independent with daily checklist discipline.
• Able to translate ideas into professional digital layouts and images.
• 4-month contract with ~35 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional-grade HTML email templates for each brand.
• Ensure every offer has a banner and AI-generated copy matches the shipped creative.
• Create promotional flows using internal Promo Factory tooling and log updates.
• Set up lifecycle flows for new brands and run AI-assisted A/B tests.
• Handle occasional design tasks for a fast-moving team.
• Create or source visuals, icons, and content for products or marketing.
• Develop visual assets for marketing materials and websites.
• Maintain brand consistency across all developed materials.
• Manage digital media assets, ensuring proper licensing and ownership.
• Collaborate with teammates across product development and marketing.
