Job summary

Otis Elevator Company is seeking a Modernization Project Manager to oversee multiple installation projects in Hamilton, Ontario. You will ensure on-time delivery, stay within budget, and meet safety, regulatory, and customer expectations while coordinating with clients, architects, and authorities.

The role requires 3+ years in elevator project management or construction, familiarity with scheduling and contract administration, and strong bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years elevator industry project management and/or construction experience.
• Experience with cost estimating, scheduling and contract administration.
• Ability to read architectural/structural drawings in English and French.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on schedule, within budget, and meets all safety standards and customer expectations.
• Coordinate all contract activities from award stage to completion and provide progress reviews.
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, owners, building managers, architects and authorities.
• Collaborate with sales, superintendents and leadership to ensure project success financially and with customers.
• Manage billing, consultant and contractor payments, RFIs and change orders to optimize cash flow.
• Interpret contractual documents and modifications to determine costs.
• Develop contingencies for estimates and potential risks.
