Job summary

Lindt in Mississauga is seeking an elevated Keyholder to lead store operations in the absence of management, foster exceptional customer experiences, and help drive daily sales during the Oct–Dec period. You will partner with the Store Manager, coach team members, support opening/closing duties, and ensure health and safety standards while presenting Lindt's premium chocolate to customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer-facing roles.
• Experience with team leadership or key holder duties preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Part-Time - (Oct - Dec)

Reports to: Store Manager

The Elevated Keyholder role is essential in providing leadership to the store team and support to the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, driving sales, and supporting team members. As an Elevated Keyholder, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our mission to Enchant the World With Chocolate.

What You'll Do:

Leadership and Teamwork:

• Act as a manager on duty by supporting store opening and closing duties, holding a key and stepping in when management is not present.
• Support, coordinate and coach team members to achieve daily sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
• Support visual merchandising and execution of in-store activations, including store cleanliness

Customer Service:

• Welcome customers to the store, answer questions, and provide personalized assistance on product features.
• Handle returns and resolves customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Act as a brand ambassador by sharing Lindt's values and product excellence.
• Support efforts to drive B2B sales by identifying potential business clients and coordinating corporate gifting orders.

Operational Support:

• In the absence of the Store Manager, prepare sales performance reports.
• Manage the store's schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Place product orders to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Uphold health & safety standards and support a strong culture of H&S with the team.

Inventory:

• Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards and inventory control procedures.
• Support inventory duties, including stock replenishment and receiving.

Cash Handling:

• Prepare daily bank deposits and assist with cash handling.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a retail sales or customer-facing role, with some team leadership or key holder experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to drive sales and lead by example.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Familiarity with inventory control, visual standards, and store operations.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask during busy periods.
• Friendly and energetic personality with a customer-first mindset.
• Comfortable with flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A passion for chocolate!
