Job description

The Vancouver Board of Education (VSB) invites applications for the position of:

Continuing Elementary Priority TTOC

Full-Time with Benefits (1.0 FTE)

Work Schedule

Guaranteed full-time work from September to June. As these are full-time continuing contracts with benefits, applicants must be available to work every day.

Assignment

Placed where there is a need to fill long-term assignments (e.g., medical/parental leaves, vacancies). We aim to assign a priority TTOC in a position that best matches their qualifications.

Duties

Responsibilities are equivalent to those of a full-time contract teacher.

  • Portability of seniority and sick days from other BC Public Schools

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Education

  • Registration with the Teacher Qualification Service (TQS)
