Job summary

Edmonton Islamic Academy is seeking a qualified full-time Elementary Teacher to join our Grade 1 team. The role focuses on fostering a positive, inclusive classroom aligned with Alberta curriculum, using varied instructional strategies and technology integration.

The ideal candidate has a B.Ed. or higher and an Alberta teaching certificate, with strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills, and a commitment to inclusive education and faith-based school culture.

Edmonton Islamic Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate full-time Elementary Teacher to join our growing Grade 1 team. We are looking for an outstanding and dedicated educator who is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and can design flexible, student-centered programs that support academic success and personal growth. This role requires an individual who can motivate students to develop the skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed for a strong educational foundation, while building meaningful relationships with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
