Position Open To: Internal and External Applicants

Posting Overview

The Lambton Kent District School Board, which is located throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton, has 51 elementary and 12 secondary schools in operation.

Prospective qualified elementary and secondary teachers, who are able to teach Core French/French Immersion, Ojibwe language and/or Lenape language on a daily or long term occasional basis are invited to apply.


Qualifications/Experience
  • Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective Division and subject area;
  • French qualifications required or must be enrolled in FSL;
  • Experience speaking the Ojibwe and/or Lenape language is required;
  • Must be available to work 3-5 days/week;
  • Must be available to work 10 months;
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the Sarnia-Lambton and/or Chatham-Kent area.
