Qualifications

Job description

Position Open To: Internal and External Applicants

Posting Overview:

The Lambton Kent District School Board, which is located throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton, has 51 elementary and 12 secondary schools in operation.

Prospective qualified elementary and secondary teachers, who are able to teach Core French/French Immersion, Ojibwe language and/or Lenape language on a daily or long term occasional basis are invited to apply.

Qualifications/Experience:

  1. Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective Division and subject area;
  2. French qualifications required or must be enrolled in FSL;
  3. Experience speaking the Ojibwe and/or Lenape language is required;
  4. Must be available to work 3-5 days/week;
  5. Must be available to work 10 months;
  6. Must be willing to travel throughout the Sarnia-Lambton and/or Chatham-Kent area.
