It is the seventh largest public school district in Ontario, with 16 secondary schools, 106 elementary schools, and approximately 11,000 staff members. The Waterloo Region District School Board is seeking qualified Elementary Occasional Teacher applicants who have experience working with adolescents and/or youth. These experiences may include paid, volunteer, and practicum roles. Appointments are effective upon receipt of OCT certification confirmation and required documentation from successful candidates.
If you are an existing Elementary Occasional Teacher with the WRDSB, you do not need to apply to this posting. Current WRDSB Secondary Occasional Teachers wishing to transfer to the Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster may apply, but if successful, you will be removed from the Secondary Roster.
Note: Interviews may be conducted in French for applicants with French OCT qualifications.
