Job summary

Clear Water Academy in Calgary is seeking a Grade 5 Girls Homeroom teacher for a temporary contract through to the end of June 2027. The successful candidate may be considered for openings in the 2027-2028 school year, and new graduates are welcome.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Grade 5 Girls Homeroom teacher. This is a temporary contract through to the end of June 2027. The candidate will be considered for teaching positions that will be open in the 2027 - 2028 school year.

Responsibilities & Requirements

We seek a qualified candidate who loves children and is committed to teaching a rigorous curriculum, finding creative and innovative ways to engage students, understands our strong faith-based mission, and is dedicated to our educational philosophy of Integral Formation - developing the intellectual, spiritual, human, and apostolic dimensions of the whole child.

As an Elementary teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and education of young children. Your primary responsibility is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that fosters children’s physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual growth.

Ideal candidates would possess Christian values along with the required teaching credentials. New graduates are welcome. Previous teaching experience, substituting experience, or working/volunteering in other child/student-related environments is an asset.
