Job summary

West Vancouver Schools is inviting Education Assistant(s) for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are available across multiple locations and run 29.5 hours per week, with a starting wage of $33.15 per hour at Step 1 plus 16% in lieu of benefits.

Posting covers the 2026-2027 school year, with a September start and a June 29, 2027 end in scope of the school year. Applicants should have a Grade 12 diploma and relevant Special Education/ABA training.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Graduation is required or equivalent.
• Post-secondary training such as Special Education Assistant certificate or related courses.
• Recent experience and training supporting ABA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing adaptations per the student IEP.
• Work primarily in the classroom or learning support room under supervision.
• May provide personal care, positioning and safety support as needed.
• May require transportation or community service support as needed.
