Qualifications

• BC Teaching Certificate (Required).
• BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty.
• Christian Education: A clear understanding of and commitment to Christian Education.
• Skills: Proficiency in Math and English, strong classroom management, and familiarity with office software for administrative tasks.
• Spiritually Grounded: A deep understanding of a Christian and Biblical worldview.
• Relational: A strong desire to connect with students and a reputation for being a friendly, even-tempered, and servant-hearted team player.
• Professional: Adaptable, confident, and optimistic, with a focus on modeling servant leadership to staff, parents, and students.

Position Title: Elementary Classroom Teacher

Regent Christian Academy Society serves children and families across our campus schools, online school, and early learning programs. As a central division of the Society, Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is our flagship campus-based school, serving the community through our Sullivan and Cloverdale campuses in Surrey, BC. Reports to: Vice Principal

Overview: The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English.
