Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Technologist to join our Test Engineering team. The role involves operating, testing, and maintaining test equipment, troubleshooting circuits, and supporting the debugging and testing of products on the production floor.

The position requires a three-year college diploma in Electronics Technology or equivalent and up to three months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a three year College Diploma as an Electronics Technologist or equivalent.
• Up to and including three months of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates, tests & maintains test equipment with guidance and support.
• Troubleshoots circuits from system to component level and performs basic rework.
• Records and interprets schematics, drawings and BOMs and tests results.
• Performs preventive and corrective maintenance/calibration on machinery with guidance.
• Mentors/trains technicians in debugging and testing of product.
• Performs other related duties as required.
