Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Solderer - Weekend for a contract position in Markham, Ontario. The role involves standard hand soldering across products while adhering to IPC standards, helping maintain production and quality through independent execution of moderately complex soldering work.

The candidate will work onsite with access to a clean environment and PPE, reading assembly documentation and using a microscope for TH soldering. Weekend schedule with potential extension.

• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation.

The Solderer performs a variety of standard hand soldering tasks across products while consistently applying IPC standards. This role contributes to team productivity and product quality through independent execution of moderately complex soldering work.

• Perform standard hand soldering tasks across products to meet production and quality requirements.
• Apply IPC standards and component handling practices to ensure consistent workmanship.
• Handle moderately complex assemblies independently to support production flow.
• Resolve routine soldering issues to minimize rework and delays.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good knowledge of SMT/TH or Mix Tech assemblies as per IPC A-610 standards is required.
• Electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
