Creation Technologies is seeking a Solderer 2 in British Columbia to perform standard hand soldering across products, applying IPC standards and ensuring quality. You will handle moderately complex assemblies and support production flow.
The role requires a high school diploma and IPC/J-STD certifications may be required; 1–2+ years of hand soldering experience. Base pay ranges CAD 22–26 per hour with a 10% shift premium; training during first months; benefits and RRSP included.

The Solderer 2 performs a variety of standard hand soldering tasks across products while applying IPC standards consistently. This role contributes to team productivity and product quality through independent execution of moderately complex soldering work.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience; Relevant technical certifications (e.g., IPC, J-STD, or equivalent) may be required depending on site, customer, or business requirements. Experience: 1 to 2+ years of hand soldering electronics assembly experience.
Controlled manufacturing environment Work is performed in sitting, standing, reaching and stooped positions. Standing for long periods of time in a manufacturing line doing repetitive tasks. Repetitive hand motions Job duties require working with and around chemicals and the use of applicable PPE will be required Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude Strong situational awareness of surroundings to ensure personal safety and prevent potential hazards in a manufacturing environment. Color identification is a requirement of the role Ability to safety lift up to 40 lbs
Base pay range: $22 - $26 depending on skills and experience, plus 10% shift premium when you work the shift. This is regular/indefinite position. Work shift: Afternoon (Monday to Friday 3:30PM-12MN), during first few months for training, work schedule will be Day (7AM-3:30PM) or Afternoon (2PM-10:30PM).
