Job summary

Chemelex is seeking an Electronics Technician for a temporary on-site assignment in Edmonton. You will fabricate, assemble and test industrial electronic prototype systems and handle PCBA assembly, including high reliability soldering.

You will organize, document, and track BOMs and procurement, and create and maintain quality control documentation and testing results. The role requires 1–2 years' experience in industrial electronics and hands-on use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

  • One to two years’ experience fabricating, assembling or testing industrial electronics.
  • PCBA assembly including SMT and Through Hole technology.
  • High reliability soldering experience and training.
  • Hands on experience with hand and power tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Word and Excel)

TEMPORARY 6 MONTH TO 1 YEAR ASSIGNMENT - ONSITE IN EDMONTON

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Fabricate, assemble and test industrial electronic prototype systems
  • Handle PCBA assembly including high reliability soldering, and testing

YOU HAVE:
  • Electrical or Electronics Technician Certificate, or Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma
  • One to two years’ experience fabricating, assembling or testing industrial electronics
  • PCBA assembly including SMT and Through Hole technology
  • High reliability soldering experience and training
  • Hands on experience with hand and power tools
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Word and Excel)
