This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

Modify and update electronic circuits, both digital and analogue. Perform the selection of electronic parts. Carry out changes to embedded software (microcontroller, FPGA) as well as test software (Python). Participate in the maintenance of the design documentation, technical budgets as well as test and start-up documentation. Troubleshoot and analyze the failure of electronic boards. Actively participate and collaborate in the evaluation and planning of tasks. Participate in the application of the safety standards (CE, CSA, ATEX), environmental standards (RoHS, WEEE), and electromagnetic compliance standards (CE, FCC).

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer/electrical engineering or technical DCS in programmable electronics and robotics (TSO).
  • Good analytical skills and understanding of electronic circuits.
  • Ability to prototype and start up electronic boards.
  • Knowledge of the following software would be an asset: Altium Designer, Pspice, Matlab.
  • Knowledge of the following languages would be an asset: C, Python, VHDL.
  • Good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
