Job summary

FTAI Aviation in Montreal, QC is looking for an Electromechanical Technician with an Electrical Certificate to join their dynamic team. This position requires executing maintenance tasks on CNC equipment and participating in troubleshooting of mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate must hold an Electrical Certificate or be in process of obtaining it, with strong capabilities in PLC skills and knowledge of safety regulations. The role includes evening shifts and offers competitive compensation with various benefits.

Qualifications

  • Shall respect all safety and health regulations in place at FTAI Aviation.
  • Holds an Electrical Certificate license (CE), or is actively obtaining it.
  • Is capable to perform all work of the trade in accordance with approved standards.

Responsibilities

  • Executes preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks on machinery.
  • Calibrates select equipment using approved standards.
  • Participates in troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Executes preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance tasks on machinery, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, and facilities according to written or verbal instructions
  • Calibrates select equipment using approved standards and procedures
  • Participates in troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical equipment
Qualifications
  • Shall respect all safety and health regulations in place at FTAI Aviation
  • Has completed recognized training or have equivalent experience in the trade
  • Holds an Electrical Certificate license (CE; formerly License C), or is actively in the process of obtaining it
  • Shall be able to troubleshoot and repair production equipment and utilities
  • Shall respect assigned deadlines and due dates
  • Has Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming and troubleshooting skills
  • Is capable and competent to perform all work of the trade in accordance with approved standards and documented instructions
  • Is able to use appropriate tools, methods, techniques and equipment necessary to perform variety of maintenance and select calibration tasks
  • Possesses sufficient knowledge of materials, specification and blueprint reading to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Shall create detailed records of executed tasks in manual or electronic form

Language Requirements in Quebec
