Job summary

Olymel in Ontario is seeking an Electromechanically Technician to work under the Maintenance Supervisor. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment to optimize machinery output as part of a cohesive team.

You will diagnose malfunctions in plant processes, perform repairs, and plan work to increase efficiency. The role requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; HACCP/SQF knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and vocational training or program are usually required.
  • Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionized environment an asset.
  • Successfully complete internal testing.
  • Relevant industrial experience preferred, experience in troubleshooting and repair.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards an asset.
