Savoura in Sainte-Sophie, QC is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our greenhouse systems in top condition. You will inspect and service irrigation, heating, cooling, and transport equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

You will coordinate part orders, log tasks in our Planner, and contribute to special projects using welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Flexibility for evenings, nights, or weekend shifts is appreciated in emergencies.

Qualifications

• DEP/AEC or certificate in industrial mechanics, automotive, or electromechanical systems automation.
• 3–5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong skills in mechanics, plumbing, electricity, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all greenhouse equipment.
• Communicate ordering needs to keep supply chain running smoothly.
• Track tasks with Planner and manage priorities to avoid issues.
• Assemble components for special projects using welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical work.

Inspect and Maintain All Greenhouse Equipment

You ensure everything runs smoothly. From irrigation, heating, and cooling systems to vehicles, agricultural machinery, lifts, pallet jacks, and greenhouse carts, you are at the heart of the action, keeping everything in perfect working order!

Communicate Ordering Needs

Your quick identification and sharing of information on components to be ordered significantly contribute to our supply chain’s smooth and efficient operation.

Track Tasks with Precision

Using the maintenance software (Planner), you monitor assigned tasks and ensure optimal priority management to avoid unexpected issues.

Assemble and Innovate for Special Projects

With your skills in welding, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity, you assemble and mount various components for our special projects, actively contributing to the innovation of our facilities!

Support the Team with Flexibility

Always ready to help, you handle any other tasks your supervisor requests, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Required skills

Education and Experience

Possess a DEP/AEC or Certificate in industrial mechanics, automotive, or electromechanical systems automation, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.

Technical Skills

Excellent skills in mechanics, plumbing, electricity, and welding are essential for the position.

Physical Abilities

Ability to work at heights and withstand indoor and outdoor working conditions, regardless of the seasons.

Professional Qualities

Demonstrate efficiency, autonomy, resourcefulness, and versatility in executing assigned tasks.

Availability and Flexibility
