Job summary

Savoura is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect and maintain all greenhouse equipment, ensuring systems from irrigation to heating and cooling operate reliably. The role includes coordinating parts orders and using Planner to track tasks, while contributing to special projects in welding, hydraulics, and related areas.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in similar roles with a DEP/AEC or equivalent, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and flexibility to respond to emergencies and varying

Qualifications

• Possess a DEP/AEC or Certificate in industrial mechanics, automotive, or electromechanical systems automation.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Ability to work at heights and in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
• English and/or Spanish speaking is a plus for collaboration with colleagues or suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all greenhouse equipment, including irrigation, heating, cooling systems, vehicles, agricultural machinery, lifts, pallet jacks and greenhouse carts.
• Communicate ordering needs by identifying components to be purchased to support smooth supply chain operations.
• Track tasks using maintenance software (Planner) and prioritize to prevent issues.
• Assist with special projects involving welding, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity to drive facility innovation.
• Support team with flexibility to handle additional tasks as needed.

You ensure everything runs smoothly. From irrigation, heating, and cooling systems to vehicles, agricultural machinery, lifts, pallet jacks, and greenhouse carts, you are at the heart of the action, keeping everything in perfect working order!

Communicate Ordering Needs

Your quick identification and sharing of information on components to be ordered significantly contribute to our supply chain’s smooth and efficient operation.

Track Tasks with Precision

Using the maintenance software (Planner), you monitor assigned tasks and ensure optimal priority management to avoid unexpected issues.

Assemble and Innovate for Special Projects

With your skills in welding, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity, you assemble and mount various components for our special projects, actively contributing to the innovation of our facilities.

Support the Team with Flexibility

Required skills

Education and Experience

Possess a DEP/AEC or Certificate in industrial mechanics, automotive, or electromechanical systems automation, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles.

Technical Skills

Excellent skills in mechanics, plumbing, electricity, and welding are essential for the position.

Physical Abilities

Ability to work at heights and withstand indoor and outdoor working conditions, regardless of the seasons.

Professional Qualities
