Job Description

Our client, a pioneer in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working within a small cross-functional team, where you will be responsible for building and testing advanced electrical machines. Your tasks will span operating, fitting, testing, maintaining, and calibrating tools, products, machines, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assembly and testing of electro-mechanical machine assemblies and subassemblies
  2. General housekeeping and improvement of production areas
  3. Installing components, assemblies, and subassemblies
  4. Daily maintenance of machines and equipment
  5. Modification of components and sub-assemblies
  6. Operating production machinery and equipment
  7. Setting up machinery and equipment for other team members
  8. Support Engineering development team
Job Requirements:
  1. Level 3 diploma in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent
  2. Demonstrable experience in an electromechanical machine assembly environment
Technical Abilities:
  1. Mechanical fitting
  2. Electrical installation and assembly
  3. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and other technical documents
