Job summary

TYLin is seeking an Electrification Lead (P.Eng.) to guide Canada-wide rail and transit electrification projects. You will lead technical direction, mentor teams, and serve as a trusted client advisor across complex infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• P.Eng. designation in Canada is a strict requirement.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with rail/transit experience.
• Experience leading electrification projects (traction power, substations, OCS, power distribution).

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of rail and transit electrification projects across Canada.
• Serve as technical authority for electrification systems (traction power, substations, OCS).
• Guide multidisciplinary teams through feasibility to construction.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Provide leadership for system integration across civil, structural, track, signaling, and operations.
• Engage with clients and lead complex project discussions.
• Support business development, proposals, and client engagement.
