Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electrician - Journeyperson / Apprentice for a contract-to-hire role based out of Calgary, AB. You will support electrical installations on large‑scale commercial and industrial projects, with a focus on new construction and retrofits on active sites.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with overtime after 44 hours. Pay is $42.00/hour, onsite only, with benefits typical of Aerotek offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in new construction electrical work, particularly in commercial environments.
• Hands-on experience with commercial construction projects, including new build commercial sites.
• Ability to bend conduit and run conduit up to 4 inches in diameter.
• Proficiency in pulling wire and installing electrical wiring and cable.
• Basic ability to read and follow blueprints and construction drawings.
• Valid WHMIS certification.
• Valid CSTS certification.
• Valid AWP (Aerial Work Platform) and Fall Pro certifications.
