Job summary

Magna International is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our Vaughan area manufacturing team. The role focuses on wiring, robotics programming and machine maintenance in a fast-paced setting.

You will work with ABB, Fanuc and Panasonic robots, perform welding tasks, and diagnose electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components. The position requires safety compliance and flexibility for overtime. Strong English communication is expected.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician or PLC certification required.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC and programming experience required.
• Ability to program and modify robot systems (ABB, Fanuc, Panasonic).
• MIG, Stick and TIG welding experience is essential.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for machines and robots.
• Connect power to machinery and wire interfaces between equipment.
• Diagnose transformers, motors, lamps and replace wiring as needed.
• Test and discuss repair options with management.
• Replace faulty electrical components and adjust sensing devices.
• Repair or replace PCBs and plan wiring layouts in buildings.
• Diagnose and replace hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Maintain safety and comply with policies; overtime as needed.
