We require the skills of an Electrician, Nights, to join our talented Maintenance team, responsible for maintenance and repair of all building and equipment as required.

  • Competitive wages: 46.54 base rate PLUS
  • Overtime in excess of 40 hours per week: Saturday 1.5x rate and Sunday 2x rate
  • Shift premiums for hours worked outside of 8 am to 4 pm
  • 0.40 / hour for hours worked between 4 pm-midnight
  • 0.55 / hour for hours worked between midnight-8 am

Position Requirements

  • 8-hour Night Shift (11 pm-7 am, Sunday-Thursday)
  • New hires may rotate between days & nights for training

Duties

  • Install machinery and equipment according to electrical code and circuit drawing using hand and power tools;
  • Perform all rebuild work (welders / electrical components) in a timely manner;
  • Interface with operator displays (HMI / Panelview) and monitors to determine solutions to machine problems;
  • Read and interpret circuit drawings to identify failed components and troubleshoot safety circuits;
  • Carry out routine machine checking with adjustments to ensure optimum operation of production equipment;
  • Support operations in emergency situations and through major shutdowns;
  • Maintain a current license for skyjack / tow motor / zoom boom as applied.

Ideal

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 5 years experience working in a Manufacturing Environment;
  • Ability to read & interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to provide troubleshooting and repair services;
  • Mechanical Aptitude and willingness to assist in all maintenance projects as required;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with the team, customers, and suppliers about operational matters.
