Job Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic controls of automated production equipment and electrical equipment installations.

This position is for the MIDNIGHT shift.

Duties And Responsibilities - Job Specific

• Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
• Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems, equipment and components.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Work on other electrical projects as required.
• Perform infrared imaging of all electrical panels as required.
• Record all information in plant PM software as required.
• Assist electrical technician in root-causing equipment electrical
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities - Standards

• Respond to all line calls in a timely matter.
• Assist maintenance team in EWO completion.
• Validate changes as needed.
• Communicate shift issues with coworkers.
• Process and complete all PM's and work orders within assign timeline.
• Clean up work areas as needed and return all hardware, tools and material back to original location. Clean and sweep area as required.
  
  

Qualifications

Must have a 309A license. Basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems. Preferred 3-4 years experience in field or equivalent. Must be able to discern colors and shades. Must be willing to learn PLC and robot programming.
