Job summary

Westlake Chemical in Vaughan, Canada, is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our production teams. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment overhauls, and integration of new machinery while adhering to safety and CMMS procedures.

You will read blueprints, work with electricians and other trades, and support ongoing plant reliability with routine repairs and documented time spent on tasks.

Qualifications

• 433A Millwright certificate preferred/asset.
• 442A Electrician certificate required/asset.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.
• PLC programming knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on production lines.
• Overhaul and install new equipment.
• Generate parts requests and maintain inventory.
• Read blueprints and schematics to support maintenance work.
• Work with other trades to complete projects.
• Maintain safety and clean work areas and follow company policies.
