Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a full-time
Journeyperson Electrician based out of Central Office in Morinville.

What You'll Do
- Maintain and service all electrical needs across Sturgeon School Division facilities
- Respond to work order requests under the direction of the Director of Facilities
- Supervise students hired for summer projects
- Collaborate with contractors and school custodians as required
- Promote strong public relations between the community, schools, and the division
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities
What You Bring
- Alberta or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial operations and maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of provincial codes and legislative updates
- Experience with BMS system programming
- Excellent interpersonal and adaptability skills
- Reliability, accuracy, and willingness to learn and stay current with new tools and technologies
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Position Details
- Type: Full-Time Temporary
- Location: Central Office (Morinville)
- Start Date: July 2, 2025
- End Date: August 1, 2026
- Salary: $41,734 – $78,000 annually
- Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours/day, with on-call responsibilities for emergencies, including a rotational schedule for evenings and weekends
