MMi Electrical is seeking a Journeyman Electrician (Residential) to join our St. Albert/Greater Edmonton team. You will lead on-site from rough-in to finish on residential renovation and new construction projects, ensuring wiring, lighting, and panels meet code and client expectations.

We value reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a small crew. A Master Electrician mentorship and growth path are available in a supportive, busy residential contractor

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of residential renovation or new construction experience.
• Proof of Alberta trade certification.
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean abstract.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Good communicator who works well in a team and on your own.
• Apprentice years considered with strong residential experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead electrician on-site from rough-in to finish.
• Install, replace, and repair lighting, devices, and panels.
• Splice, terminate, and test wiring to code; troubleshoot faults.
• Maintain a safe, tidy site and communicate professionally with homeowners and trades.

Journeyman Electrician (Residential): St. Albert / Greater Edmonton

MMi Electrical is a St. Albert electrical contractor serving the Greater Edmonton Area. We do residential renovation and new construction, plus light commercial work. We’re a small, tight team led by a Master Electrician, and we’re adding a Journeyman who wants more responsibility, steady work, and a company that looks after its people. What you’ll do

You’ll work on-site as a lead electrician, installing and maintaining electrical systems from rough-in to finish. You’ll:

• Pull wire and install supports, boxes, and brackets
• Install, replace, and repair lighting, devices, and panels
• Splice, terminate, and connect wiring to code
• Test circuits and troubleshoot and repair faults
• Keep your work on schedule and your site safe and tidy
• Represent MMi professionally with homeowners, builders, and other trades

You’ll report directly to the owner and work alone or alongside a small crew, so you’ll see projects through from start to finish.

What you bring

• 3–5 years of residential renovation and/or new construction experience
• Service and troubleshooting experience is a strong asset
• Valid driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented, with work you’d be proud to have in your own home
• Good communicator who works well in a team and on your own
• Comfortable with basic computer use (email, Microsoft Office)

We’ll also consider a skilled 3rd- or 4th-year Apprentice with strong residential renovation experience.
